LANDU MVR Treatment Drives Emissions-Free, ISO 14000-Certified Operations

Zero-Discharge Water Treatment That Cuts Energy Use

Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) is an evaporation technology that significantly enhances energy efficiency in industrial wastewater treatment. Unlike traditional multi-effect evaporators, MVR recaptures and reuses secondary steam, compressing it via a steam compressor (centrifugal or Roots type) to elevate its temperature and pressure. This recycled steam becomes the primary heat source, eliminating the need for continuous fresh steam input. As a result, MVR systems reduce operational costs by 40–80%, lower cooling water consumption by over 90%, and enable low-temperature evaporation (avoiding thermal degradation of sensitive materials).
At LANDU, we harness Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) to transform wastewater into a resource. By compressing and recycling waste steam, LANDU’s MVR eliminates freshwater extraction pressures and ensures full Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) compliance. Also, LANDU’s low-temperature MVR (operating at 50-90°C) prevents thermal damage to sensitive compounds. By converting waste into distilled water and recyclable salts, LANDU closes the loop on industrial water use, proving that environmental responsibility and profitability can coexist.
